I walked into the arena hoping to be alone for a bit. I tightened my grip on my sword hopping I could battle my fears away. But as always, I couldn't. With Nico gone I didn't have my best friend to talk to about anything. I had gotten lost in thought and didn't notice that the dummy I had apparently been slashing at, was just a wooden stick with fluff everywhere. I turned hearing footsteps and saw just the person I wanted to see. Not.

Nursing a hangover, I was walked over to the Arena to try and clear my head, take some ambrosa and nector without having anyone take notice of it. So much for that. I looked up, seeing Maya, and I grimmaced. I only remember flashes from yeseterday night, drinking, seeing Maya, then waking up in my cabin by myself. I was still mad at her for hanging out with Niall. Do you want anything? I growled at her.

I gave him a stern face and said, "Nothing from you." I growled back, mimicking him voice. Flashes from that night swarmed my head as i moved to the next dummy, "So, I guess you remember nothing?" I asked glancing at him.

I smirked, "Good." I said in a happy voice. It was fake and I was a little disappointed actually. I stabbed another dummy leaving Jules to wonder why my mood had just changed.

Though still confused on what had happened, I could tell that Maya's personalty and feelings changed. That same little think that made me like her in the first place came back to me. you okay? I said, a bit more kindly.

I didn't really know what to say to her, I wondered if we were still friends or not, but I took a chance. If you're not okay, you know that you can always talk to me. I said tentively, putting a hand on her shoulder.

I stared into his eyes, they seemed sparked with lightning but at the moment, soft. "Well. That would be kinda hard cause your the problem." I smiled sarcastically.

I chuckled softly, thinking it was a silly joke with her sarcastic grin. "I'm sure we'd be able to find a way to avoid that," I said, taking a step closer to Maya.

I smiled and watched him take a step closer, I remember being even closer to him then this. I had felt safe with his arms around me and I almost forgot the whole Nico situation. I smiled, a real smile at him. I felt my feet move and I almost closed the gap that lay between us. I was pleading but I wasn't demanding, I wanted to close the gap and leave it closed till I got my fill but I wouldn't just barge right into him, he had a say.

I had to admit, it was kind of nice that she was walking closer to me. It felt nice, and almost like deja vu, or whatever, like I had done this before. I had an urge to kiss her as she finally came rather close to me, but I managed to hold myself back. "And, you seem like you still want to be with me. I said, afterwords slightly embarassed at my choice of words.

I smiled and blinked twice flirty, "Never said I didn't." I stood there, frozen and I wanted to keep this moment frozen forever. Well maybe add his arms around and and us being a little closer. Right then, I was happy and if he kissed me now, I know it would be real. Not that drunk kiss I had, but maybe this would feel different, maybe a little more emotion added.

I still really wanted to kiss her, but instead I settled for one against her cheek, to tease her. It felt nice and sweet, almost everything that I've ever wanted in a kiss.

I held myself back from turning my head, to where he wouldn't be kissing my cheek but my lips. I closed my eyes and felt the warmth of his lips seep through my cheek and into my soul. I leaned into him a little and turned my head, i felt his lips against mine and then, pulled back. "Sorry." I muttered looking down.
